Ex-Invesco chief to chair Ashcourt Rowan asset management business

Investment veteran Hugh Ward has joined Ashcourt Rowan as a non-executive director and will chair its asset management business.

Ward was previously chief executive of Invesco’s UK and offshore business and a member of the group executive board. He has also held senior positions at Schroders and Capital House.

Ashcourt Rowan chairman Kenneth West says: “His experience as a former chief executive of Invesco UK, and the architect of the merger between Invesco and Perpetual, will be a significant benefit to the business as we look to continue to develop and grow our asset management operation.”
