Ex-Henderson marketing head Richard Wilson to join HSBC

Former Henderson director of marketing and distribution services Richard Wilson is to join HSBC Global Asset Management, Money Marketing understands.

Wilson is set to take up a global marketing role. He will join to work in the global client proposition team, which is led by global head of client propositions David Chellew.

Fundweb revealed that Wilson left Henderson in September. He joined the firm from New Star following its acquisition in April 2009. He was at New Star for over six years, where he was marketing director.

He was previously UK and European retail marketing director at Aberdeen from 1999 to 2002.

HSBC declined to comment.
