Ex-Edeus chief Pritchard sets up national financial services business

Ex-Edeus director of packaging Terry Pritchard is setting up a new national financial services business called Alt FS, Money Marketing understands.

Other senior staff at the venture are understood to include Jim Robinson, sales and marketing director at Charterhouse Retirement Solutions, an equity release support services firm also run by Pritchard, and Salvus Property Advisors managing director Philip Ransley.

The firm is set to offer a wealth management service alongside mortgages, international and commercial property loans and bridging loans.
It is understood the partners are planning to recruit up to 60 advisers by March next year.

Pritchard recently linked up with Ransley at Salvus Property Advisors as its sales and marketing director to form an intermediary-only private equity property fund, which is targeting a return of 15 per cent and a total investment of £50m.

The fund, which invests in prime residential property, has recruited TV personality Martin Roberts, from the BBC’s property auction show Homes Under the Hammer, to help market the firm.

Pritchard launched equity release support services firm Charterhouse Retirement Solutions, which is linked to equity release brokerage SYH Charterhouse, with ex-Edeus colleague Michael Bolton in July last year.
