Ex-Bluefin practice head joins Best Practice

Former Bluefin Personal Consulting practice head Patrick Murphy has set up his own financial planning firm Zen Wealth and joined Best Practice network.

Murphy left Bluefin in August after being with the firm since its inception in January 2009, he was previously a director of IFA consolidator Thinc which merged with Destini.

Best Practice has also taken on board Arch Financial Planning, a firm with eight advisers and around £90m assets under advice.

  1. I assume this article refers to Arthur Childs of Arch? If so congratulations on joining BP, I am just coming up to my 2 years anniversary and my business has been completely transformed and ready for RDR. We are very excited about RDR and the new opportunities which lie ahead.

As we are also a chartered firm in West Sussex I will send over my contact details later. You will need some time to learn the full functionality of the systems which are brilliant and should prove to be a perfect fit for Arch.

    All the best

  2. Delighted to see that Patrick Murphy’s new company has joined the Best Practice IFA Group. I look forward to meeting up with him in due course. Thank you too Lee for your warm welcome as it is our company which is also moving to them as soon as the FSA has released us from our directly regulated status, so I look forward to meeting up with you as well.
