Ex-Barclays Wealth banking head joins Lombard Odier

Former Barclays Wealth UK and Europe private banking head Henry Fischel-Bock will join Lombard Odier as head of European private client business next year.

Fischel-Bock was in the driving seat of Barclays’ UK and European wealth management arm for just 10 months before he jumped ship. He had worked for the firm since 2010.

His new role, which he starts on 1 January, will see him report to Lombard Odier managing partner Frédéric Rochat.

With more than 30 years’ experience in wealth management, Fischel-Bock will help create the differentiated, long-term service Lombard Odier is striving for, Rochat says

“We have built a significant private client business within the European Union with a single and efficient technology platform that allows us to offer clients solutions to their increasingly complex needs,” he adds.

Lombard Odier’s European private client business has offices in Amsterdam, Brussels, London, Madrid, Paris and Luxembourg.
