Equity income is Hambro’s first Oeic

J O Hambro Capital Management is launching its first UK-domiciled, open-ended investment company, the JOHCM UK Equity Income Fund.

The fund aims to deliver long-term growth and generate an above-average dividend yield through an actively managed portfolio of 50-70 stocks, and will be benchmarked against the FTSE All-Share index. It will aim to achieve an initial 4%+ yield, while delivering some capital growth.

Clive Beagles, previously head of UK equities at Newton Investment Management before joining JOHCM in September, will manage the fund.
