Equitable directors&#39 hearing complete

The judge hearing a request by nine former Equitable Life
non-executive directors asking for the case against them to be thrown
out, has reserved his decision.

The hearing was completed on Friday afternoon and follows on from
Equitable&#39s announcement last year it was launching a £3.3bn
lawsuit against 15 former directors for negligence and breach of duty
in the lead up to the insurer&#39s collapse.
