Enos leaving The Hartford

Hartford Life marketing and distribution managing director John Enos is leaving the company.

Distribution development director Michael Rudge is taking over the role in the int- erim while managing director of sales Andy Marks will take on the additional resp-onsibility of sales operations.

Enos joined The Hartford in 2004 and helped to launch its third-way annuity product in the UK.

Rudge will be responsible for marketing, distribution development and overall administration of the UK branch. He has been with The Hartford since 2006 and joined as programme director responsible for the launch of The Hartford’s platinum pension product, which was launched into the UK market last year.

Chief executive Michael Kalen says: “Following the successful expansion of The Hartford into the UK in 2005 and the launch of Hartford Platinum in 2007, John leaves Hartford Life in an excellent position to continue to grow the business in 2008 and bey-ond. Michael and Andy are both outstanding leaders with extensive industry expertise and we look forward to their contributions as we build on our success in the UK.”
