Emag voices concerns about compromise deal

The Equitable Members Action Group has renewed its call for more information about Equitable Life&#39s financial position.

The call comes as the life office puts forwards its proposals for a compromise deal for members. Emag is seeking information on the fund&#39s current value and recent performance and details of who has left between July 16 and September 30 this year.

Emag says that to expect members to wait until the issuing of the voting pack in November and then to receive only interim half year accounts for the year to June is unacceptable.
