EFM&#39s Inca Trust suffers Latin American fallout

Edinburgh Fund Manager&#39s Inca Trust is suffering disappointing returns as a direct result of the economic crisis in Latin America.


Third quarter figures show the fund&#39s net asset value fell by 56.6 per cent against the 51.6 per cent fall suffered by its benchmark, the IFC Latin American Investible Index.


The discount at which the trust&#39s share price trades to net asset value increased from 22.3 per cent to 38.6 per cent, share price fell by 65.6 per cent and the warrant price fell by 50 per cent.
