Edinburgh Fund Managers has posted six month results for its Edinburgh Java Investment Trust.
The trust which invests specifically in Indonesia, out performed its benchmark by 4.7 per cent over the six months to June 30.
The share price leapt by 61 per cent to 12.5p from 7.75p per share over the period.
Java's net asset value increased by 107.4 per cent to 15.95p compared to the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite Index which rose by 102.7 per cent.
The trust's chairman David Woods says: "The past six months has seen a dramatic turnaround in Indonesia by any measure. The political and economic backdrops have been transformed.
"After 30 years of a Golkar dominated political regime, the country will now be administered by a democratically elected coalition government
