Eco-property mortgage guide from Ecology Building Society

The Ecology Building Society is publishing a guide for borrower looking to convert or renovate existing properties.

The Ecology Building Society lends on properties that traditional lenders may shun including loans to fund conversion of derelict properties and development of organic smallholdings, farms and woodlands.

The Ecology Building Society marketing manager George Penaluna says: “Most of our mortgages are provided to help renovate or convert existing properties into homes, to build new homes with natural or recycled materials and for other low impact housing.
