DWS investment club will cover global markets

DWS Investments has set up a club which will provide members with immediate details on breaking news affecting global markets.

Services include commentary from experts such as global chief economist Steven Bell, events featuring specialist speakers as well as discussion groups tackling topical issues.

Investment club members will have access to specialist briefings on areas such as investment, management and business issues as well as social outings and other functions. The club is part of the company&#39s push into the retail market. It comes two weeks after DWS set up a fettered funds of funds and a corporate bond fund.

There are no costs to join the club and it is open to any DWS clients, including IFAs and discretionary managers. DWS is running roadshows to promote the club.

Head of UK distribution support Mark Newsam says: “The club has been designed specifically with our clients&#39 requirements in mind. We believe that future success will be built on our ability to help our clients grow their business. Fundamental to this is better communication and co-operation, a commitment which we believe over time will engender trust and build strong partnerships.”
