UK Wealth Management discretionary manager Jeremy Dufton is leaving to join Cardale Asset Management as associate director.
Dufton, who is chief investment officer of UKWM subsidiary UK Portfolio Management, has worked at the company for 10 years. His leaving date has not yet been agreed.
UKWM was previously Yorkshire Investment Group until its rebranding in January. It has £1.4bn of private client funds under advice. In March, private equity firm Duke Street acquired a majority interest in UKWM for more than £10m.
UKWM marketing director Janet Wallbank says: “UKWM wishes Jeremy every success in his new appointment but as he will not be leaving us for some time, it continues to be business as usual.”
Cardale Asset Management, which was set up in 2003, is an independent stockbroker and private client investment manager based in Harrogate and Hull. It had £362m under management at the end of September.
A Cardale Asset Management spokeswoman says: “Cardale Asset Management is pleased to confirm that Jeremy Dufton will be joining our 50-strong team based in Harrogate. He will commence employment with them as soon as his current contractual obligations are completed.”
