Double trouble

Former world darts champion Andy “The Viking” Fordham regained his pride last week by beating Money Marketing news editor James Phillipps to level the series at one apiece.

In a stirring battle, Phillipps managed to get down to an outshot but fluffed the double 18 and Fordham pounced to punish him.

Standard Life booked the larger than life darts player turned reality TV star to celebrate its, er, 181st birthday.

The Viking also revealed he turned down the opportunity to go on Celebrity Come Dancing but that would be a flight of fancy.
