Dolan stumped by sportsmen&#39s identity

Never one to pass up a chance to poke fun at one of its loyal readers, the Diary can reliably report an amusing anecdote involving Financial Dynamics associate partner Louise Dolan and two of Britain&#39s most beloved sportsmen.

At a corporate outing, Dolan had a lengthy conversation with England rugby star Lawrence Dallaglio, unaware of who she was speaking to. It was only when she got around to asking what he did for a living that the penny dropped.

Not one to be put off for long, a few weeks later, Dolan found herself at a cricket function, chatting away to a strapping young man who was explaining the ins and outs of how the gentlemen&#39s pastime is played.

Again, it was only after Dolan thanked the young man and he moved on that she was informed by an admiring bystander that it was England captain Nasser Hussain who was patiently telling her about his game.
