Distribution Technology hires Graham Bentley

Risk profiling and adviser software firm Distribution Technology has appointed former Skandia head of proposition Graham Bentley as a financial planning advisory board member.

Bentley, who is managing director of investment consultancy gbi2, will also sit on Distribution Technology’s investment committee.

Both the financial planning advisory board and the investment committee meet quarterly to inform Distribution Technology’s processes, services and software.

Members are drawn from different fields including academia, technical analysis, wealth management and financial planning.

Bentley has previously held roles at Henderson and M&G, and oversaw the launch of Spectrum, the first risk-targeted fund range at what is now Old Mutual Wealth.

Distribution Technology director of financial analytics Chris Fleming says: “To have been able to attract someone of Graham’s pedigree is a real testament to the strength of the committee we now operate. His insight will be invaluable.”
