Defaqto expands Aequos as whole service goes online

Defaqto has enhanced its Aequos database products and made them completely accessible online.

The financial research firm has added equity release and its QuantRater product to Aequos Engage. There have also been technical advances such as the ability to save session work and to integrate databases with most main back-office systems and web-based quotation portals.

Customers who previously got the Aequos database on CD can now get either Aequos Engage, the adviser-dedicated database, or Aequos Online, the database for paraplanners and adviser platforms.

Defaqto adviser national account manager Roger Perry says: “Our success with Aequos Engage has been achieved by working closely with our customers to ensure the product meets their requirements. We will continue to improve product features to the benefit of IFAs and their customers.”

CBK principal Peter Chadborn says: “We find Aequos Engage extremely useful in every product area so if Def-aqto is adding more functionalities, it has got to be a good thing. It proves that a uniform methodology is being adop-ted and is much more treatingcustomers-fairly-friendly.”
