Defaqto appoints chief technology officer

Defaqto has appointed Standard and Poor’s senior director for EMEA Systems Asitha Rodrigo as chief technology officer.

Rodrigo has more than 15 years experience in financial services technology through roles with Deloitte, Morningstar and Money Marketing.

He will head up the Defaqto team responsible for developing software and research into financial services.

Defaqto chief executive Kenn Herskind says: “This appointment of a chief technology officer with considerable sector experience signifies our commitment to delivering a second-to-none online customer service.”
