DBS warns members to guard against misselling stakeholder

DBS is warning members to safeguard against future claims of pension misselling in the run up to stakeholder pensions.


The network, which has 1800 member firms, has written to members urging them to ensure clients are made aware in writing of potential benefits stakeholder could bring.


It suggests they recommend &#34products which best facilitate the transition to a stakeholder contract, those with high early transfer values, fair terms on premium cessation and single premium contracts&#34.
