DBS to invest £1m in the internet

DBS is planning to invest £1m into its AssureWeb internet service according to reports in today&#39s Financial Times.


The report says the service run by its internet business AssureSoft will be offering a quotation service from 10 insurance companies by the end of the year to DBS&#39 members.


Another nine companies are set to follow.


The news follows the announcement by DBS that it was withdrawing its business from The Exchange.


DBS is one of The Exchanges three biggest companies the report says.
