DB Mortgages to withdraw remaining products this week

DB Mortgages is withdrawing its remaining products, Near Prime+ to Super Light, this Friday.

The non-conforming lender confirmed last week that it had pulled its sub-prime mortgage range in order to re-price its products.

DB Mortgages managing director Bill Dudgeon denies the decision is to do with the worsening situation in the US and says it will re-launch on August 20.

DB Mortgages says that applications for its Near Prime+ to Super Light products must be fully packaged by September 14.

Last week also saw Investec-backed Unity Homeloans and Infinity Mortgages withdraw their sub-prime products.
