DB Advisors has acquired some of Standard Life Investments global liquidity funds plc’s money market funds.
The acquisitions, completed on June 1, will add around £2bn of assets, €1.25bn denominated assets and a small number of US dollar assets to DB’s global liquidity management business.
Last month, shareholders in the funds voted unanimously in favour of amalgamation into DB’s existing money market funds.
DB Advisors UK & Ireland head of liquidity management Reyer Kooy says: “We are delighted to welcome investors in the Standard Life Investments funds as clients. We are committed to serving the needs of money market fund investors in the UK and worldwide.”
In March this year, DB advisors merged the Henderson Liquid and Henderson Global Investors, transferring around £2.5bn of assets.
