Dawn of the age of Architas

Architas Multi-Manager has brought in Dawn Kendall as head of product development and investment strategy.

Kendall is tasked with leading both the product and long-term strategic investment outlook for the firm. Her duties include research into alternative investments.

She has 22 years experience in the industry at SG Warburg (now UBS), Newton Investment Management and Integrated Alternative Investments.

F&C multi-manager head Richard Philbin resigned in May to join Architas as chief investment officer. In July, Caspar Rock joined as Philbin’s deputy following the transfer of six Axa Framlington multi-manager funds to Architas.

Architas plans to follow up its fund of fund launches with manager of managers solutions and also hybrid offerings as it bids to become one of the leaders in multi-manager.

Managing director Ian Colquhoun says: “I am delighted with the appointment as Dawn is a strong complement to our senior management team.”
