Darby on gardening leave but may join Charcol next year

Bradford & Bingley commercial director Ian Darby is understood to be on gardening leave from B&B with the possibility of joining Charcol next year.

Charcol says Darby’s contract means he is not allowed to work for them for a while, but revealed this could happen at some point next year.

Senior technical manager Ray Boulger says: “Ian’s contract means he is not allowed to do anything for a while but whether this will still be the case some time next year I don’t know.”
