Cutter&#39s way

Skipton operations director David Cutter cut quite a dash at the annual Building Societies Association lunch recently in a rather startling tweed jacket and pinstripe trouser combo.

News of the fashion disaster (allegedly the result of a hasty exit from home that morning) travelled ahead of the unfortunate soul who found himself stood up by his lunch guest at the last minute.

Most unfortunate of all was the fact that David&#39s wallet was in the pocket of the jacket he left behind, leaving him begging for petrol money from colleagues and competitors at the glittering event.

Rumour has it the fashion police were despatched to Yorkshire ahead of the charity premiere of the new Bond film on Monday to avoid further embarrassment.

Life cover for life

When someone mentions whole of life plans, most people will think of a niche product that serves as an inheritance tax planning tool for high-net-worth clients.
