CSAM announces change at European equity helm

Credit Suisse head of European equities Jeff Currington is to leave the firm to persue other opportunities.

Currington is to be replaced by Cesar Perez who joins from M&G Investments where he held the same role.

Perez will manage a team of eight European equity members based in London, Paris and Zurich and will report to CSAM global head of equities Kim Goodwin.

Goodwin says: “I am thrilled that Cesar is joining us and believe he will provide great leadership given his history of turning around performance.

“Cesar is the fifth equity manager the company has hired in three months. His appointment continues to strengthen our equity business and further demonstrates our commitment to bringing the talent on board necessary to deliver superior investment performance to our clients. That a manager of his reputation and track record is attracted to Credit Suisse is testament of our potential and weight in the industry.”
