Coulson to head up new Home of Choice network.

Richard Coulson is ready to head a mortgage network with a multi-tie proposition called Home of Choice.

The network, to be launched with approximately 500 members in June has been created with two former Zurich colleagues.

Coulson will be the network’s managing director while Keith Baldiwn will be its chief executive and chairman. Gerry O’Brien joins as sales director.

Coulson is still in negotiations through his lawyers as to his position with Zurich.

MCCB surplus goes to three projects

The Mortgage Code Compliance Board’s 1m surplus following its liquidation at M-Day will be distributed to a combination of projects. Around 300,000 will go towards the Money Advice Trust and 300,000 on training for mortgage advisers. The rest will go to the FSA to reduce mortgage advisers’ fees at the next fee cycle.
