Conference aims to put finance in the classroom

Over 60 teachers and lecturers attended a recent conference hosted by the FSA in Canary Wharf to find out more about finance issues and the regulator&#39s education services.

The conference organised by Edexcel, a provider of academic and vocational qualifications, was intended to help business and economic teachers make finance a more interesting subject for students.

Speakers included FSA consumer relations director Christine Farnish and Bank of England executive director and chief economist Charlie Bean.
