Composite adviser is nothing new

I was so pleased to learn from Shaun Godfrey in a recent edition of Money Marketing that the “composite intermediary is here”.

What does he think a huge percentage of high-street IFAs have been doing until now? Even the FSA, which is not always considered to be too far ahead of the game, has a “simplified” process for IFAs already regulated by the FSA to extend the regulatory cover to mortgages and general business.

Apparently, there are many thousands of applications being considered. Welcome to the club, Mr Godfrey.
