Collins Stewart launches Zero recovery fund

Collins Stewart Fund Management Limited is seeking regulatory approval for the launch of a new Zero Dividend Recovery Fund.

The Fund is designed to allow investors the opportunity to exploit potential of capital growth from an asset class that has already fallen heavily. The Fund aims to raise £20 million to invest into a concentrated portfolio of actively managed Zero Dividend Preference shares.

Collins Stewart Asset Managers Executive Director John Davey says: “We believe zeros are around the point of maximum pain after very heavy falls and that there are many disgruntled shareholders. This market dislocation has created an excellent opportunity for those who know where the skeletons are and where they are presumed to be but are not.”
