Cofunds reveals the most popular funds in November

John Chatfeild Roberts 450 Index

The Jupiter Merlin Income portfolio has retained its position as the bestselling fund in November, according to the latest figures from Cofunds.

The £4.1bn fund, which is managed by John Chatfeild-Roberts, beat the £3.1bn Newton Global Higher Income fund and the £1.9bn Invesco Perpetual Distribution fund, which were second and third respectively.

Other funds in the top 20 bestsellers included the £10.7bn M&G Optimal Income, £3.5bn Aberdeen Emerging Markets and the £1.3bn Kames High Yield bond funds.

The Mixed Investment 20-60% shares sector continued to be the most popular on the platform in November with a 22 per cent market share. Strategic Bond, Global Equity Income and £ High Yield were also popular investment sectors last month, while the IMA UK All Companies, UK Equity Income and Money Market funds saw the highest outflows.

Cofunds head of fund group relations Michelle Woodburn says: “Mixed Investment 20-60% shares seem to have created a boom with advisers in November, however volatility has meant many sectors seeing outflows.”
