Cofunds made Rowanmoor Sipp partner

Rowanmoor Pensions has added Cofunds to its list of Sipp investment partners.

The tie-up will allow IFAs who have clients with a Rowanmoor Sipp to access the Cofunds online portal. The portal can also be accessed by members of Rowanmoor Pensions’ SSAS and Family Pension Trust products.

Rowanmoor Pensions head of pensions technical services Robert Graves says: “Although clients have the option to invest their Sipp funds through their chosen channel, we find the process of opening new investment accounts lengthy.

“By working in partnership with Cofunds, we have streamlined the administration process, enabling advisers to establish accounts quickly and efficiently.”

Cofunds sales and marketing director Alastair Conway says: “The tie-up gives Rowanmoor Pensions’ Sipp introducers not only direct access to our funds but also the peace of mind of a B+ financial strength rating and ISO27001 certification, the international standard for information security management.”

Radcliffe & Newlands chartered financial planner Mel Kenny says: “The more traditional full Sipp and SSAS providers are under pressure to get things moving quicker as they enter the mass market in the hope that these clients eventually adopt more complex services from the provider.”
