Cobalt breakout brokerage joins MAB

Coreco Group, the new brokerage formed by senior members of Colbalt Capital, has joined the Mortgage Advice Bureau.

London brokerage Cobalt Capital went into administration last month, and the Coreco Group is a breakout venture initiated by some of the former senior management team and key consultants of the former firm. Coreco Group will trade as an appointed representative of MAB.

MAB chief executive Peter Brodnicki will join Andrew Montlake, Matthew Lowndes, Francois Taljaard, Rob Henderson, Roy Hardy and Rob Gill on the board of Coreco Group.

Brodnicki says: “MAB are delighted to be part of such a forward-thinking and positive new venture. We anticipate that this strategic alliance and the ambitious expansion plans of Coreco Group will produce a successful new force in mortgage broking.

“With endless opportunities, we are convinced that the Coreco Group will quickly become a major player and attract the leading and most ambitious advisers.”
