Clive Briault appointed to On-Line Partnership board

Support services firm In Partnership has appointed former FSA managing director of retail markets Clive Briault to the board of The On-Line Partnership as a non-executive director.

During his time at the FSA Briault was involved in the development and implementation of new capital regimes for banks and insurers, the treating customers fairly initiative, the retail distribution review and financial capability. He left the regulator by mutual consent in April 2008.

Prior to joining the FSA, he was head of the capital and wholesale markets division at the Bank of England.

In Partnership group executive chairman Stanley Lovell says Briault brings experience and expertise to the board.

He says: “As the company continues its successful growth and implements policies to meet the RDR requirements, Clive will bring that essential balance as a non-executive director who has unrivalled experience gained at both the Bank of England and the Financial Services Authority.”
