Clerical Medical offers extra allocation for online application

Clerical Medical is offering new investment bond customers an extra 1% allocation if applications are made online.

The special offer runs until April 22 2007 and applies to the initial allocation charging structure on the vehicle, which is available as an onshore, lump sum investment with an element of life cover.

The minimum initial investment is set at £10,000 and customers can choose from a wide range of nearly 70 funds, which are suitable for both growth and income investors.

Clerical Medical head of distribution Keith Gilmour said: “Clerical Medical saw a doubling of electronic new business submissions in the second half of 2006 and this offer provides intermediaries with a very good reason to submit onshore bond business electronically.”
