Clerical Medical hands out calculator

Clerical Medical is releasing a carry back, carry forward calculator in CD-Rom format to help IFAs highlight this last chance tax opportunity for their clients.

From January 31 2002 it will not be possible to carry forward unused tax relief from previous years.

Clerical says it received a massive number of requests for the calculator from IFAs who want to show clients how to make the most of unused tax relief going back to the 1994/95 tax year.

The CD has an interactive training module to show IFAs how to make the most of carry back, carry forward, and combining the two. It also has guidance on the timing of tax relief, an ability to record calculations for future reference and pre-populated Inland Revenue forms.
