Clarkson Hill adds ScotEq to panel

IFA Clarkson Hill has appoin- ted Scottish Equitable Protect to its preferred protection panel in a deal which includes critical-illness insurance, income protection and term insurance.

ScotEq will be one of five product providers on the protection panel along with Axa, Friends Provident, Legal & General and Scottish Pro- vident.

The IFA believes it is one of the fastest growing in the country. It now has 230 RIs spread throughout the UK with its headquarters in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.

Scottish Equitable Protect head of sales Alun Beynon says: “Clarkson Hill is a very dynamic and ambitious group with exciting gro- wth plans.

“As such, we are extremely pleased to be part of its protection panel and look forward to helping it grow its protection business.

Clarkson Hill group director of strategy and development Bill Moncrieff says: “The group is delighted with the strategic development and we expect our protection business to double over the next 12 months.”
