CIS to publish voting record

CIS is to publish all its voting decisions online in a drive to promote responsible shareholding among institutional investors.

The initiative was launched at a seminar on social responsibility at last week&#39s Labour conference. CIS says it is the first institutional investor to make this commitment. The move was welcomed by Labour MP and chairman of the House of Commons Treasury Select Committee John McFall.
