Cirencester stays close to its roots in rebranding

Income protection specialist Cirencester Friendly Society is rebranding.

The society, originally known as the Cirencester Conservative Association Working Men’s Benefit Society, was founded in 1890 to help safeguard the financial stability of agricultural workers in the Cotswolds.

The new logo aims to stay true to this history while presenting a modern face as an income protection specialist with 23,000 members across the UK.

Chief executive Paul Hudson says: “This is more than just a new logo. It visually demonstrates the changes which have already been made within the society while being reminiscent of its agricultural origins.”
