CII reveals rapid take up of Chartered status

Industry support for the CIIs new Chartered Financial Planner title has been overwhelming with 539 people being awarded the title within the first month of its availability.

At the end of November the CII wrote to 880 members who met the qualifications criteria and invited them to apply for the new title. To date over 61 per cent have submitted an application, exceeding the CIIs initial take-up expectations.

An inaugural graduation ceremony will be held on March 2nd to recognise those being awarded Chartered Financial Planner status on or before January 20th.
