CII launches 21st century young insurance professional of the year award

The CII launches the Sheikh Abdullah Foundation for 21st century young insurance professional of the year award.

The award, sponsored by the Sheikh Abdullah Foundation will be offering the £3,000 award to the winner at the UK Insurance & Financial Services conference on October 1.

Entrants to the award must be 30 years old or under at September 1 2004, be a member of the CII or have studied towards or completed any of the CII&#39s general examinations in the past three years.

Judges are looking for a rising star in the industry who can demonstrate a track record of progression and who has made a valuable contribution to their own organisation or the industry as a whole.

CII director general Dr Sandy Scott says: “We are fully committed to developing the professionalism and capability of the market and this sort of initiative can only help our efforts.”
