The CII launches the Sheikh Abdullah Foundation for 21st century young insurance professional of the year award.
The award, sponsored by the Sheikh Abdullah Foundation will be offering the £3,000 award to the winner at the UK Insurance & Financial Services conference on October 1.
Entrants to the award must be 30 years old or under at September 1 2004, be a member of the CII or have studied towards or completed any of the CII's general examinations in the past three years.
Judges are looking for a rising star in the industry who can demonstrate a track record of progression and who has made a valuable contribution to their own organisation or the industry as a whole.
CII director general Dr Sandy Scott says: “We are fully committed to developing the professionalism and capability of the market and this sort of initiative can only help our efforts.”
