CII and Tenet offer diploma support

Tenet Group has signed a deal with the Chartered Insurance Institute to provide a learning support package for its member advisers who want to work towards the CII’s diploma in financial planning.

The package includes access to a suite of learning support such as online tool RevisionMate, audio CDs, examination guide and key fact booklet as well as the CII study text and exam preparation course.

Tenet is also providing face to face workshops and web based training for the most popular diploma units over the next two years.

CII head of business development, financial services Steve Aspinall says: “Tenet’s approach to improving professional standards is the latest example of leading organisations within the industry joining forces with the CII to support advisers reach, and hopefully surpass, the higher benchmark qualifications that the RDR has flagged. It shows that the momentum towards improved professionalism is continuing which can only be good for the industry and consumers.”

Tenet Group distribution and development director Keith Richards says: “This initiative adds to our recently launched professional development programme which focuses on increasing business opportunities through further qualifications and an effective CPD programme, rather than just because it might be necessary to meet future regulatory requirements.

“We take very seriously our role in providing guidance, cost discounts and practical support – both remotely and face to face.”
