CII and IMA publish investment workbook

The CII and Investment Management Association have jointly published a CPD workbook for advisers.

The workbook aims to address concerns over IFAs&#39 knowledge of investment products ahead of the publication of the findings of the Sander review.

The workbook, which is available through the CII website, www.cii.co.uk, covers all forms of collective investments and their tax implications.

CII director of marketing Steve Wellard says: “The FSA is determined to drive up standards across the industry, using qualifications and CPD as its major weapons. The CII has a clear responsibility to take a leading responsibility to take a lead in supporting these efforts.”
