Cheltenham & Gloucester cut savings rates

Cheltenham & Gloucester Channel Islands is reducing the interest rates on all its investment accounts by 0.5 per cent.


For balances of more than £100,000 in its Guernsey 30 account, rates will drop to 5.75 per cent. Balances at £25,000 drop to 5.7 per cent and balances at £5,000 to 5.5 per cent.


Investors with £250,000 in Guernsey Gold will now receive 4.9 per cent. The lower tiers of £100,000, £25,000 and £5,000 are now 4.7 per cent, 4.35 per cent and 3.9 per cent respectively.
