Chelsea links up with charities

Chelsea Building Society is to launch a second issue of is Call-Direct account.

Chelsea is renewing its link with two charities, Shelter and The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association for the launch of Call-Direct (2nd Issue).

Chelsea will make a £1 donation to Shelter for every account opened before February 24, 2001, as well as encouraging investors to collect and send in used stamps for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.

The Call-Direct (2nd Issue) account will feature a variable rate of 6.3 per cent, including 0.25 per cent bonus for the first year of investment.
