Chasing growth aggressively

Chase Fleming Asset Management has added to its range of global funds with the FF-Global Dynamic fund.

This Luxemburg-based Sicav aims to provide aggressive growth by seeking out stocks that it believes will offer high returns. The fund holds a minimum of 250 stocks, consisting of companies that cut across regions and sectors. These might include financial, industrial and telecommunications companies in regions such as the US, Europe and the Far East.

Stocks are selected according to their performance potential and the fund managers will draw heavily on the company&#39s global network of analysts to help them assess the growth potential of stocks.

Although this fund offers diversity because it is not restricted to any country or sector, clients could get this diversity from a fund of funds. The investment strategy makes it more specialist than other global funds and also more risky. It is suitable for more adventurous clients with a balanced portfolio who are not afraid to take high risks in the search for high returns.

According to Standard & Poor&#39s, the Fleming Save & Prosper growth fund is ranked 119 out of 126 funds based on £1,000 invested on a bid o bid basis with net income reinvested over three years to December 11, 2000.
