Chase Fleming picks ScotLife for DC admin

Scottish Life has been selected by Chase Fleming Pensions to administer its def- ined-contribution pension business.

The move follows the purchase of Chase Fleming&#39s previous DC administrator Lib- erty Pensions by Chase rivals Schroder in May.

Scottish Life DC Solutions is a specialised service concentrating on communication with trustees and members and the effective use of internet-enabled technology.

Scottish Life Administration Services was created in 1998 and provides a range of pension admin services, including DC Solutions, covering group money purchase, group personal pensions and group additional voluntary contribution schemes.

Chase Fleming says Scottish Life has provided a consistently improving service and has internet capabilities which are already up and running, unlike some of its competitors.

Chase Fleming sales and marketing director Helena Vukovic says: “We are very committed to the DC market and we know from our exhaustive search of administrators, conducted in 1998, that Scottish Life is one of the very few organisations that can meet our exacting standards.

“This development is appropriately timed as DC sales should increase both directly and indirectly as a result of stakeholder pensions.”

Scottish Life group chief executive Brian Duffin says: “Scottish Life Administration Services is an increasingly important business within the group.

“We have invested heavily in DC Solutions over the past few years and such investment always seems worthwhile when an organisation with the profile and reputation of Chase Fleming selects us to provide administrative service to support its DC business.”
