Chartwell rebrand means end of the Cavendish Grant brand

Chartwell’s four business activities have been rebranded under the Chartwell banner meaning an end to the Cavendish Grant brand.

Cavendish Grant IFA becomes Chartwell Private Client, Chartwell Direct becomes Chartwell theinvestorcentre.com, the fund arm becomes Chartwell Fund Management and the independent mortgage brokers remains as Chartwell Funding.

The firm’s multi-asset Oeic is rebranded the Chartwell Oeic.

Chartwell merged with Cavendish Grant 18 months ago and the firm says the rebranding will promote a greater recognition of the scale of Chartwell’s offering.

Chief executive Jim Grant says: “This is a positive step to bring clarity to our clients, strengthen our proposition and ensure we have a solid platform for growth. We have broadened our portfolio of products, listened to what out clients want and launched innovative services such as theinvestorcnetre.com. Chartwell is a name that people know and trust, and the re-brand will help us build on what we have achieved as a business.”

Chairman Lord MacLaurin of Knebworth says: “The team has worked hard to integrate different aspects of the business without losing the qualities that make Chartwell unique.”
