Chartered broker accolade for Rockingham Retirement

Rockingham Retirement has been awarded the Chartered Insurance Institute’s chartered insurance broker title.

Only 55 firms have achieved chartered insurance broker status. All chartered insurance brokers commit to the CII’s code of ethics & conduct, which reinforces the highest standards of professional practice in their business dealings.

Managing director Steve Hunt says: “Securing chartered insurance broker’s status is a landmark for the company. We have always prided ourselves on being thoroughly professional in everything we do and to receive external recognition in this way is very gratifying. As chartered insurance brokers, we can signal our commitment to the highest levels of service to our customers.”

Rockingham Retirement handles more than 20,000 annuity enquiries a year. It has recently scrapped the 195 charge on all pension funds of 20,000 and under to help people nearing retirement who struggle to pay for advice because they have a small pension pot.
